Getting started is easy. Either call us or fill out our enquiry form below and we will contact you to discuss your system requirements and to arrange a site survey, all free and a no obligation quote is provided. Site survey is to determine your requirements, roof space, roof orientation and mains connectivity.
STEP 2:: Financial Incentives.
Investing in PV is a good, sound investment and the feed-in-tariff will pay you for every KWh at the relevant rate for the electricity your system generates (YES THATS RIGHT !! YOU GET PAID JUST TO GENERATE THE ELECTRICITY !!)
On top of that you get to use the free electricity you generate (during daylight hours), so you don't have to buy it and then the rest you don't use or if your not using it, you get paid an additional £0.03 per KWh you export back into the grid.
So there are 3 ways you make the money,
1. FIT payment.
2. Electricity you generate and use, so not having to pay for it @ £0.13 per KWh (rule of thumb is you'll use 50% of what you generate).
3. The other 50% of electricity generated and not used, exported back to grid @ £0.03 per kwh.
STEP 3:: Installation Process.
If you decide to have Green Square Solar install you a PV system on your home or premises, our installation team will organise a date to suit your schedule. Our scaffolder will erect the scaffold (if needed). The install team assigned will turn up and install the PV sytem, complete any electrical works required with the mains connection and then test and commission the system. All relevant MCS certification, DNO notification and then your energy provider contacted with your details for FIT payments is finally done. A completion pack is then completed and delivered to you with all documentation and warrantees etc for the system.
